The number of individuals and institutions finding a significant place in the India Book of Records (IBR) -- India's leading record-setting platform, is growing day by day. Some of its stories are really mind-boggling and inspiring. The Art of Living Foundation created two records for the largest number of people reciting Ganesh Atharvashirsha and the largest number of people taking the pledge for a drug-free India in a place, entering the ABR also. A total of 54,560 people recited the hymn at Suryakant Kakde Farm, Pune, while 1,26,613 students participated in the Drug-Free India campaign. The event was supported by Pune University. Art of Living founder, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis graced the event. India Book of Records: Biplab Kumar Mondal gets special appreciation

  Raiganj:  Biplab Kumar Mondal of Karnajora, Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal , has received appreciation from the India Book of Records (IBR) for spreading Covid awareness messages among the people. Mondal spread this awareness in the villages, markets, localities by distributing kites to the kids with awareness messages written on them, by providing masks and offering sanitizers. He also delivered medicines from door-to-door and organized awareness by displaying posters and banners on the motorcycle. Mondal, born on September 1, 1978, said, “I started my activities from the very beginning of the spread of Covid-19 in our country. I went out on my motorcycle, hanging few banners and posters on it to make people aware. I taught the passers-by how to make a mask with tissue paper and a rubber band.   The record for releasing an extraordinary e-magazine ‘KPStellar’ during the pandemic was set by Krishnagar Public School , West Bengal . The quarterly (April - June) senior secondary school e-magazine includes contributions from the teachers, students and their parents. The magazine was made available on the school website on July 28, 2020. During the current pandemic when most schools are barely able to function through few virtual classes, this is one-of-a-kind initiative, as confirmed on August 10, 2020. Noida: President Sumita Dass,ISO Anita Pandey and Treasurer Manu Bhullar visited House Of Stray Animals Dispensary in Sector 55, Noida. This is a voluntary organisation for stray, sick and abandoned dogs. They run a free OPD for these dogs. They have an emergency mobile OPD to reach out and treat stray animals that have been seriously injured in accidents or otherwise.  The President of House of Stray Animals, Sanjay Mohapatra is an animal activist and dedicated in animal welfare initiatives. A spokesperson of Inner Wheel Club Noida District 301 said, “We gave some dry ration, sanitizers and facemasks. We would appeal everyone to kindly get in touch with us to support the noble initiative and help these voiceless animals.”
