Euler Motors receives 2,500-vehicle order from ecommerce giants Flipkart, BigBasket, Udaan ahead of maiden launch

New Delhi: Euler Motors, an automotive technology OEM focused on electric commercial vehicles (EVs) announced that BigBasket, Flipkart, Udaan, along with other ECommerce, Hyperlocal and B2B delivery players, have placed an order for 2,500 EVs for intra-city deliveries. The companies will deploy Euler Motors’ EV across Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai to transform and strengthen their first, mid and last mile operations. Deliveries of these vehicles are scheduled to take place in the next 6-8 months. Rajapalayam kid gets praise for performing Silambam with fire

Chennai : Aarrush Ashok, 8-year school boy from Rajapalayam (Tamil Nadu), has got his name featured for performing Silambam,  a traditional Tamil martial art, with fire burning on both the poles for 50 seconds, as confirmed by the India Book of Records (IBR). Expressing his happiness over getting the record in his name, Aarrush said, “I have always wanted to do our traditional martial art with a twist and have managed to perform it by doing Silambam with fire burning on both poles. When the World is running towards westernization I wanted to excel in one of India ’s famous martial arts 'Silambam', adding a bit of thrill with fire, accomplishing the task at ease and make India proud. I even hope that someday soon, Silambam would be introduced in the Olympics.” He practiced twice a week. Skill development project held for rural Punjab women

Ludhiana: As part of the CSR initiative of Bharat Petroleum (BPCL), Bisnouli Sarvodaya Gramodyog Sewa Sansthan (BSGSS), an NGO mentored by former civil servants, Nandita Bakshi, and Vijay Kumar Jha, launched a new training session at its Skill Development Training Centre for Women. The NGO has been functional in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and UP for the past two decades.   The training centre conducts programmes for women in four disciplines, namely Cutting-Tailoring, Beauty Culture, Computer Operation and English Speaking.   Raiganj:  Biplab Kumar Mondal of Karnajora, Raiganj, Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal , has received appreciation from the India Book of Records (IBR) for spreading Covid awareness messages among the people. Mondal spread this awareness in the villages, markets, localities by distributing kites to the kids with awareness messages written on them, by providing masks and offering sanitizers. He also delivered medicines from door-to-door and organized awareness by displaying posters and banners on the motorcycle. Mondal, born on September 1, 1978, said, “I started my activities from the very beginning of the spread of Covid-19 in our country. I went out on my motorcycle, hanging few banners and posters on it to make people aware. I taught the passers-by how to make a mask with tissue paper and a rubber band.   The record for the fastest world mapping by a group of girls was set by four students of Andhra Pradesh Tribal Welfare Residential School (APTWRS), Alur, Kurnool , at APTWREI Society, Gurukulam, Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) on December 30, 2020. The group included Banavath Gayathri Bai (Group leader), Sugali Roja Bai, Madiga Manjula and Thota Anu Vyshnavi Devi. They drew an outline of the world map marking the boundaries of all (195) countries of the world in a time span of 1 minute and 15 seconds only. The record has been certified by the India Book of Records (IBR). The attempt was inspired by the coach and principal of the school, K S Sai Kishore. The girls practiced for one year before attempting for the record. They used to give direct demos of in schools and to make the students aware of this unique learning style. Sanvi - A wonder girl from Andhra sets a new national record

  Hyderabad : The highly talented girl from East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh ( India ) - V L Sanvi has established a national record by remembering too much information at a tender age of seven years. Her name has been included in the India Book of Records (IBR). The young prodigy is appreciated for reciting the names of all Indian states with their capital city names, 30 countries with their capitals, scientific names of 24 body parts along with their English names, 19 denominations and 33 synonyms, at the young age of seven years and 11 months only. This feat was confirmed on November 21, 2020 by the India Book of Records team. The super girl, Sanvi was born on December 2 nd , 2012 in Andhra Pradesh.
